Kitchen Faucets

Kitchen faucets are important in your kitchen. Think of your kitchen as a designer outfit. Would you accessorize your most expensive outfit with your cheapest purse? Heck no, this would not only be tacky, but devalue the overall style of the outfit.

So, what does this have to do with your kitchen? If your thinking about or have already invested in a kitchen remodel, then you are looking at the equivalent of a designer outfit for your home. Kitchen faucets are that accessory to that outfit.

Why would you spend a ton of money kitchen, without finishing it properly with the right touches? Now, kitchen faucets should not only work good, they should also look good too. You want a kitchen faucet that compliments your overall kitchen design, and performs the work that is needed.

Sprayers are a good option to include with kitchen faucets. A sprayer are not only excellent in cleaning off your fruits and vegetables, it helps in cleaning dishes, watering plants, and is just a great tool to have in your kitchen.

The finish of your kitchen faucet should match or compliment other items in your kitchen such as cabinet hardware, or even your appliances. You wouldn’t want a white enamel kitchen faucet with stainless steel kitchen appliances. Also, gold-plated or brass faucets are best left to bathrooms and not a good choice for kitchen faucets. The exception to this would be if you had a very elegant upscale kitchen, with other gold or brass accessories.

Another consideration in choosing kitchen faucets will be the water flow rate.  Make sure you check the package and choose a flow rate that you prefer,  The water flow rates can come in from anywhere to 1.5 to 2.5 gallons per minute.  If you are focused on water conservation, than you will want to choose a faucet with a lower GPM.  However, if you need a higher flow, then chose a faucet with a higher GPM.

In conclusion, do your research and buy a kitchen faucet that not only suits your needs, but also looks great in your kitchen at the same time.
